A closer look at Saatva bed frames
Our upholstered bed frames consist of a headboard, side rails, and, in the case of some styles, a footboard, wrapped in your choice of vintage velvet or natural linen. Vintage velvet is plush, with a rich texture and subtle matte sheen, and comes in taupe or graphite. Natural linen is made from natural flax fibers without any harmful chemicals or dyes.

Amalfi has a high tufted headboard and simple lines that work in formal or casual spaces.
Marbella has deep button tufts and optional side panels for a dramatic look.
Oslo is a modern take on the timeless sleigh bed.
Marseille is simple and crisp, with nailhead accents on the smooth headboard and footboard.
Minori is more understated, with a lower profile headboard and gently tapered wings.
Santorini is a platform bed, with sleek lines and graceful legs.
Saatva's bed frames are all constructed with sustainably sourced, kiln-dried hardwood for durability, using mortise and tenon joinery (the gold standard in furniture making). The fabric is hand-sewn and hand-tufted. Because the beds have finished backs, they can be placed anywhere in your bedroom.
The best mattress and foundation to pair with a Saatva bed frame
All Saatva bed frames, with the exception of the Santorini platform bed, are compatible with a 4.75"-5" foundation and the adjustable base plus (platform beds don't require a foundation). The frames also pair with any Saatva mattress—just note that if you want to use the Santorini bed frame with the Saatva HD or Zenhaven, you must cover the slats with a solid material, such as plywood.
