But if you go mattress shopping, you’ll see the term most often associated with innerspring mattresses that contain a coil support system<\/a> along with another material such as memory foam, explains Mary Helen Rogers, a board member of the Better Sleep Council and the organization’s director of mattress education.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

That combination of traditional coil support<\/a> with the contouring comfort of memory foam is what gives a hybrid bed mattress its appeal. \u201cMany will say that hybrids bring the best of both worlds together,” Rogers says.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
