What makes our percale sheets so special?

Staple

Light yet durable

Long organic cotton fibers, or staples, are woven into a crisp percale weave that's naturally very breathable, moisture-wicking, and cool to the touch.

Thread

Just the right thread count

As thread counts rise, fabrics become warmer. We chose a thread count of 200 for the perfect balance of softness and breathability. Our organic percale sheets are pre-washed for a soft, lived-in feel.

Fair Trade

Made with Fair Trade Cotton

This bedding product is made with that’s sourced with the most rigorous standards of economic and social responsibility for the farmers. We believe it's the most effective way for us to do the most good every day.

Cotton

Organic all the way

We only use certified organic cotton. From harvesting to each step of manufacturing, our cotton sheets are organic through and through.

What makes our down alternative pillow so dreamy?

Frequently asked questions

  • Thread count is the number of horizontal (warp) and vertical (weft) threads in one square inch of cotton fabric. The higher the thread count, the warmer the fabric becomes.

Our sateen cotton is made of a 300 thread count weave, which gives them the perfect balance of breathability and softness. Our percale cotton is made of a 200 thread count weave, giving it even more breathability.

  • We’re glad you asked! Machine wash cold on a gentle cycle with like colors, tumble dry low. Do not bleach. Mild, organic detergents work best.

  • Bedding products returned within 45 days of the delivery date will get a full refund to the original form of payment. There are no restocking or penalty fees for used products, but we do ask that you wash your used bedding before returning.

  • Organic bed sheets are made from fibers grown without chemical insecticides or synthetic fertilizers. They're also either undyed or use environmentally-friendly dyes. Sleeping on organic sheets lessens your daily exposure to potentially harmful or skin-irritating chemicals that might be present in non-organic sheets.

  • Absolutely! Natural fibers are typically more breathable than synthetic fibers like polyester.

The 100% natural long staple cotton we use for our sheets are 200 thread count for the percale and 300 thread count for the sateen, making it the perfect balance of soft and breathable.

  • Spot clean as needed.

  • Our Down Alternative Pillow is highly moldable, meaning it suits most sleep styles. It’s a particularly good pick for people who like to cuddle with their pillow at night.

  • Absolutely. We use two types of hypoallergenic down alternative fibers, microdenier down alternative and supportive memory fibers, wrapped in 100% organic cotton.

  • This Down Alternative Pillow absorbs very little body heat while offering a high volume of airflow which allows you to sleep very cool.

  • Rather than using goose feathers and down as fill, down alternative pillows use hypoallergenic synthetic fibers that mimic the plush, lofty feel of traditional down pillows.

  • The National Sleep Foundation recommends replacing your pillows every two years or so. A handy test you can do to see if it's time to replace your old down alternative pillow is to fold it in half lengthwise and hold it for 30 seconds. If it doesn't go back to its original shape when you let go, it might be time for a new pillow.

  • Most down alternative pillows are more hypoallergenic than traditional down pillows. We go a step further by covering ours with a hypoallergenic organic cotton shell to make sure it's free of harmful chemicals.

  • One of the biggest advantages of a down alternative pillow over a real down pillow is that it's made with hypoallergenic fill. Another reason people pick down alternative pillows is that they're more ethical than traditional goose down pillows. If you're an animal lover, down alternative is the way to go.

  • Spot clean as needed, preferably with a mild, organic cleaning solution.

  • You should expect to replace your topper after about three to five years. This also depends on other factors like the quality of the latex, high-density foam, or memory foam, the age and condition of the mattress, and the thickness of the mattress topper.

If you're looking for the most durable mattress topper material available, go for a latex mattress topper.

  • The Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS) is the leading textile processing standard for organic fibers. Fabrics that carry the GOTS symbol must be made with at least 95% organic fiber, free of toxic chemicals, colored with nontoxic dyes, and meet strict social and environmental criteria. Our percale sheet set features 100% GOTS certified organic cotton.

  • Products made with Fair Trade Certified™ cotton are made according to rigorous social, environmental, and economic Fair Trade Standards. This means the farmers and workers behind that product earn additional money from your purchase to empower and uplift their communities.

All businesses that work with Fair Trade are held to these rigorous standards, which drive income sustainability, community and individual well-being, empowerment, and environmental stewardship.
