The DTC mattress company opens its first location in Northern Jersey ahead of Valentine’s Day.<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Saatva<\/a>, the Smarter Luxury Sleep Company, has arrived in Paramus. Saatva’s newest Viewing Room in Northern New Jersey is the company\u2019s first outpost in the Garden State. The immersive 4,924-square-foot space located in Bergen County, was designed to be more than a standard mattress store. Saatva Paramus<\/a> is the ultimate destination for an integrated mattress exploration, education, and modern retail technology experience.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A New Design Experience<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Saatva Paramus showcases the latest step in the company\u2019s retail design journey. Saatva’s Long Island flagship was conceptualized by Hines Collective<\/a> and Ware Malcomb<\/a>, an award-winning multidisciplinary architecture and design firm. Hines Collective further integrates modern touches and emphasizes this new interpretation of Smarter Luxury Sleep<\/em>. This perfectly complements Ware Malcomb’s design and construction approach, which provides an elegant and sophisticated experience in one of Long Island’s most luxurious shopping areas. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cOne of the first elements you experience is the incredible architecture of the ceiling,\u201d said Devin Hines. With its undulating lines, the coved ceiling guides visitors through the store as other design features layer on and contribute to that flow. There are numerous \u2018wow\u2019 moments throughout the interior, including a 6\u2013by\u201310\u2013foot changing digital display wall that allows customers to experience a Saatva mattress in the setting of their choice. Like all Saatva Viewing Rooms, Saatva Paramus is designed to be a relaxed, self-guided space where customers can use technology to interact with and learn about products at their own pace. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

From the moment a visitor enters the space, the Viewing Room aims to redefine the customer experience. With its aromatic fragrance,\u00a0subdued color palette, warm lighting,\u00a0sustainable flooring, and textured wall treatments, Saatva Paramus offers an inviting respite from New York City’s hustle and bustle. Further into the space, silvery trees form a canopy under the ceiling\u2019s gentle curves. Soft fabrics and floor-to-ceiling mirrors punctuate the walls throughout, creating a unified environment from start to finish. In keeping with Saatva’s “made in America” philosophy, interior materials and finishes, including the architectural lighting, were assembled in the U.S.A.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In addition to showcasing Saatva\u2019s full lineup of made-to-order luxury mattresses<\/a>\u2014featuring innerspring<\/a>, memory foam<\/a>, latex<\/a>, hybrid<\/a>, adjustable air<\/a>, youth<\/a>, and crib<\/a> options. Saatva\u2019s suite of organic bedding products is also on display, including the new Organic Velvet Diamond<\/a> quilt and the Organic Channel Cotton<\/a> quilt, perfect for upgrading one\u2019s sleep sanctuary. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Cutting-Edge Technology<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Thanks to a partnership with Samsung, this Viewing Room is outfitted with state-of-the-art displays and the latest behavior-sensing technology to help customers discover, personalize, and build their ideal sleep experience. In addition to the digital  \u201chero\u201d wall, composed of nine Samsung VM46T-U 46-inch Full HD Ultra-Narrow Bezel Video Wall Displays,  information kiosks at each bed display<\/a> allow visitors to interact with the collection at their own pace, with knowledgeable Sleep Guides on hand to assist and answer questions. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cSamsung is committed to helping retailers provide unique and enhanced customer experiences by leveraging data and in-store behavior,\u201d said Chris Mertens, Vice President of Sales, Display Division Samsung Electronics America. \u201cOur continued partnership with Saatva is a testament to how our display technology and software solutions continue to improve the customer journey from the moment the consumer enters the store.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As customers explore bedding<\/a>, pillows<\/a>, and other top-of-bed accessories<\/a>, for example, an LED display embedded in the accessories wall changes to display pertinent product information. In the children\u2019s bed area, kids can interact with the Flip, a 55-inch whiteboard with a touch screen for drawing. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cSamsung\u2019s technology allows us to optimize and automate store campaigns and the product information based on real-time integrated data to deliver the content and information that our customers care about most when shopping,\u201d said Rudzin.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
