The DTC mattress company\u2019s modern retail experience arrives in Quaker City to celebrate National Sleep Awareness Month<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Saatva<\/a>, America\u2019s Smarter Luxury Sleep company, has arrived in the City of Brotherly Love. Saatva Philadelphia, situated in the historic Rittenhouse Square neighborhood, is the company\u2019s newest location and its first in Pennsylvania. The immersive 5,561-square-foot space was designed to be more than a standard mattress store. Saatva\u2019s Viewing Room is the ultimate destination for an integrated mattress exploration, education, and modern retail technology experience.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A New Design Experience<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Saatva Philadelphia showcases the company\u2019s new retail design journey. This new location was conceptualized by Hines Collective<\/a> and Sargenti Architects<\/a>, an international architecture firm. Hines further integrates modern touches and emphasizes the luxuries of the brand with this new interpretation of Smarter Luxury Sleep<\/em>. This perfectly complements studioTROIKA\u2019s partner-led, old-school design and construction approach that provides elegance and sophistication in one of Century City’s most luxurious shopping areas. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cOne of the first elements you experience is the incredible architecture of the ceiling,\u201d said Hines. The coved ceiling, with its undulating lines, guides visitors through the store as other design features layer on and contribute to that flow. There are numerous \u2018wow\u2019 moments throughout the interior, including a 6\u2013by\u201310\u2013foot changing digital display wall that allows customers to experience a Saatva mattress in the setting of their choice. Like all Saatva Viewing Rooms, Saatva Philadelphia is designed to be a relaxed, self-guided space where customers can use technology to interact with and learn about products at their own pace. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

From the moment a visitor enters through the foyer, the Viewing Room aims to redefine the customer experience. With its aromatic fragrance,\u00a0 subtle color palette, warm lighting,\u00a0 sustainable flooring, and wall treatments, Saatva Philadelphia offers an inviting respite from the city\u2019s bustle. Further into the space, silvery trees form a canopy under the ceiling\u2019s gentle curves. Soft fabrics and floor-to-ceiling mirrors punctuate the walls throughout, creating a unified environment from start to finish. In keeping with Saatva’s “made in America” philosophy, interior materials and finishes, including the architectural lighting, were assembled in the U.S.A.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In addition to showcasing Saatva\u2019s full lineup of made-to-order luxury mattresses<\/a>\u2014featuring innerspring<\/a>, memory foam<\/a>, latex<\/a>, hybrid<\/a>, adjustable air<\/a>, youth<\/a>, and crib<\/a> options.  Saatva\u2019s suite of organic bedding products is also on display, including the new Organic Velvet Diamond<\/a> quilt and the Organic Channel Cotton<\/a> quilt, which are perfect for upgrading one\u2019s sleep sanctuary. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Cutting-Edge Technology<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Thanks to a partnership with Samsung, the Philadelphia Viewing Room is outfitted with state-of-the-art displays and the latest behavior-sensing technology to help customers discover, personalize, and build their ideal sleep experience. In addition to the digital  \u201chero\u201d wall, composed of nine Samsung VM46T-U 46-inch Full HD Ultra-Narrow Bezel Video Wall Displays,  information kiosks at each bed display<\/a> allow visitors to interact with the collection at their own pace, with knowledgeable Sleep Guides on hand to assist and answer questions. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

As customers explore bedding<\/a>, pillows<\/a>, and other top-of-bed accessories<\/a>, an LED display embedded in the accessories wall changes to display pertinent product information. In the children\u2019s bed area, kids can interact with the Flip, a 55-inch whiteboard with a touch screen for drawing. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
