Saatva<\/a>, America\u2019s Smarter Luxury Sleep company, has officially opened its newest retail location in Houston, Texas. Located in the prestigious Post Oak Plaza Mall<\/a>, this 4,000-square-foot showroom marks Saatva\u2019s continued expansion into the Texas market, following the successful opening of its Dallas location. The Houston Viewing Room brings the brand’s signature combination of luxurious design and eco-friendly sleep solutions to one of the city\u2019s premier shopping destinations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A New Design Experience<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Saatva Houston showcases the latest step in the company\u2019s retail design journey conceptualized by Hines Collective<\/a> and Ware Malcomb<\/a>, an award-winning multidisciplinary architecture and design firm. Hines Collective integrates modern touches and emphasizes the new interpretation of Smarter Luxury Sleep<\/em>. This perfectly complements Ware Malcomb’s design and construction approach, which offers a serene atmosphere, complete with warm lighting and custom architectural elements that enhance the shopping experience.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cOne of the first elements you experience is the incredible architecture of the ceiling,\u201d said Hines. The coved ceiling, with its undulating lines, guides visitors through the store as other design features layer on and contribute to that flow. There are numerous \u2018wow\u2019 moments throughout the interior, including a 6\u2013by\u201310\u2013foot changing digital display wall that allows customers to experience a Saatva mattress in the setting of their choice. Like all Saatva Viewing Rooms, Saatva Houston is designed to be a relaxed, self-guided space where customers can use technology to interact with and learn about products at their own pace. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

From the moment a visitor enters through the foyer, the Viewing Room aims to redefine the customer experience. With its aromatic fragrance,\u00a0 subtle color palette, warm lighting,\u00a0 sustainable flooring, and wall treatments, Saatva Houston offers an inviting respite from the city\u2019s bustle. Further into the space, silvery trees form a canopy under the ceiling\u2019s gentle curves. Soft fabrics and floor-to-ceiling mirrors punctuate the walls throughout, creating a unified environment from start to finish. In keeping with Saatva’s “made in America” philosophy, interior materials and finishes, including the architectural lighting, were assembled in the U.S.A.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In addition to showcasing Saatva\u2019s full lineup of made-to-order luxury mattresses<\/a>\u2014featuring innerspring<\/a>, memory foam<\/a>, latex<\/a>, hybrid<\/a>, adjustable air<\/a>, youth<\/a>, and crib<\/a> options, Saatva also debuted its latest innovations for the bedroom. The in-store newness included the Cassis<\/a> and Amalfi storage beds<\/a>, whose designs are inspired by international coastal cities, the new Signature Sateen bedding collection<\/a>, made with silky-soft OEKO-TEX\u00ae Standard 100 certified cotton sheets, as well as a Bunkie Board<\/a> designed to support and protect the dual-sided Zenhaven Latex Mattress<\/a> that offers two distinct comfort options on each side. Thanks to a partnership with Samsung, the Houston Viewing Room is outfitted with state-of-the-art displays and the latest behavior-sensing technology to help customers discover, personalize, and build their ideal sleep experience. In addition to the digital  \u201chero\u201d wall, composed of nine Samsung VM46T-U 46-inch Full HD Ultra-Narrow Bezel Video Wall Displays,  information kiosks at each bed display<\/a> allow visitors to interact with the collection at their own pace, with knowledgeable Sleep Guides on hand to assist and answer questions. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
