The DTC mattress company opens its first location in Connecticut.<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Saatva<\/a>, the Smarter Luxury Sleep Company, has arrived in Westport. Saatva’s newest Viewing Room in Southwestern Connecticut is the company\u2019s first outpost in the Constitution State. The immersive, multi-level, 4,684-square-foot space in Fairfield County was designed to be more than a standard mattress store. Saatva Westport<\/a> is the ultimate destination for an integrated mattress exploration, education, and modern retail technology experience.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A New Design Experience<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Saatva Westport showcases the latest step in the company\u2019s retail design journey. Saatva’s Connecticut flagship was conceptualized by Hines Collective<\/a>, an interior design and management company that works on luxury residential and commercial projects, and Ware Malcomb<\/a>, an award-winning multidisciplinary architecture and design firm. Hines Collective integrates modern touches and emphasizes the physical interpretation of Smarter Luxury Sleep<\/em>. It complements Ware Malcomb’s design and construction approach, which provides an elegant and sophisticated experience in one of Connecticut’s most luxurious shopping areas. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cOne of the first elements you experience is the incredible architecture of the ceiling,\u201d said Devin Hines. With its undulating lines, the coved ceiling guides visitors through the store as other design features layer on and contribute to that flow. Numerous \u2018wow\u2019 moments throughout the interior create an elegant yet digitally elevated shopping experience. Like all Saatva Viewing Rooms, Saatva Westport is designed to be a relaxed, self-guided space where customers can use technology to interact with and learn about products at their own pace. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

From the moment a visitor enters the space, the Viewing Room redefines the traditional mattress-buying experience. With its aromatic fragrance, subdued color palette, warm lighting, sustainable flooring, and textured wall treatments, Saatva Westport offers an inviting respite. Further into the space, silvery trees form a canopy under the ceiling\u2019s gentle curves. Soft fabrics and floor-to-ceiling mirrors punctuate the walls throughout, creating a unified environment from start to finish. In keeping with Saatva’s “made in America” philosophy, interior materials and finishes, including the architectural lighting, were assembled in the U.S.A.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In addition to showcasing Saatva\u2019s full lineup of made-to-order luxury mattresses<\/a>\u2014featuring innerspring<\/a>, memory foam<\/a>, latex<\/a>, hybrid<\/a>, adjustable air<\/a>, youth<\/a>, and crib<\/a> options, Saatva\u2019s suite of organic bedding products is also on display, including the new breathable Organic Quilted Pillow<\/a> and airy Waffle Knit Duvet Cover Set<\/a>, perfect for upgrading one\u2019s sleep sanctuary, even during the dog days of summer. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Thanks to a long-standing retail technology partnership with Samsung, this Viewing Room is outfitted with state-of-the-art displays and the latest behavior-sensing technology to help customers discover, personalize, and build their ideal sleep experience. In addition to the digital  \u201chero\u201d wall, composed of nine Samsung VM46T-U 46-inch Full HD Ultra-Narrow Bezel Video Wall Displays,  information kiosks at each bed display<\/a> allow visitors to interact with the collection at their own pace, with knowledgeable Sleep Guides on hand to assist and answer questions. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

As customers explore bedding<\/a>, pillows<\/a>, and other top-of-bed accessories<\/a> an LED display embedded in the accessories wall changes to display pertinent product information. In the children\u2019s bed area, kids can interact with the Flip, a 55-inch whiteboard with a touch screen for drawing. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
