Saatva<\/strong><\/a> continued its partnership with MoCA\\CT<\/strong><\/a> through sponsorship of the museum\u2019s 2026 performing arts programming, MoCA\\CT Presents: Endea Owens + The Cookout<\/em><\/strong><\/a>, a special live performance celebrating the closing weekend of the museum\u2019s Art, Jazz + the Blues<\/em><\/strong><\/a> <\/strong>exhibition.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Held before a full house in MoCA\\CT\u2019s galleries, the evening brought together art enthusiasts, music lovers, and community members for an unforgettable celebration of jazz, creativity, and connection. The performance served as a fitting finale to the exhibition, highlighting the enduring relationship between visual art and live music.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Detroit-born bassist, composer, and bandleader Endea Owens<\/strong><\/a> delivered an electrifying performance alongside her ensemble, The Cookout. A graduate of The Juilliard School and member of Stay Human, the house band for The Late Show with Stephen Colbert<\/em>, Owens has performed with legendary artists including Wynton Marsalis, Diana Ross, Jon Batiste, and Jennifer Holliday. Her acclaimed career has earned her Grammy, Emmy, and Peabody Awards, establishing her as one of the most compelling voices in contemporary jazz.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
