Designer Tara McCauley transformed the primary bedroom into a Surrealist dreamscape, inspired by the artistic collaborations of Elsa Schiaparelli with luminaries like Cocteau and Dal\u00ed. The grayscale palette, drawn from Cocteau\u2019s La Belle et la B\u00eate<\/em>, was accented with Schiaparelli\u2019s signature shocking pink. Trompe-l\u2019\u0153il hallway wallpaper, curtains opened by disembodied hands, and an eye-shaped surrealist mirror by Thomas Englehart added whimsical touches to the suite. The luxurious Saatva Classic Mattress<\/a> was the perfect addition, elevating the comfort and sophistication of this imaginative retreat.
