Saatva’s Forest: Planting for the Future with Evertreen

At Saatva, our commitment to sustainability goes beyond the bedroom. As part of our mission to promote a cleaner, healthier planet, we’ve proudly partnered with Evertreen to actively combat deforestation and reduce carbon emissions—one tree at a time.

Since September 2022, Saatva has been planting 500 mangrove trees per month, building what we proudly call the Saatva Forest. As of April 2023, including generous tree donations from Bedding Industries Of America, our forest has reached 7,000 trees—with many more to come.

A Growing Impact

Our reforestation efforts are on track to plant an additional 6,000 trees per year, bringing our total to:

  • 13,000 trees by April 2024
  • 19,000 trees by April 2025
  • …and continuing to grow.

Each tree is estimated to offset 1.5 tons of CO₂ over its lifetime, meaning:

  • As of April 2023, our impact is 1,050 tons of CO₂ offset
  • With an additional 900 tons expected to be offset every year moving forward

Why Mangroves?

Mangroves are known for their fast-growing carbon absorption capacity and play a vital role in coastal ecosystems. While the CO₂ offset increases over time as these trees mature, even now, their presence is helping to capture carbon, stabilize coastlines, and support biodiversity.

Planting Purposefully

This partnership with Evertreen is more than a symbolic gesture. It’s a tangible, measurable part of our larger goal to operate responsibly—offsetting emissions, giving back to nature, and creating a legacy of environmental stewardship our customers can be proud of.

“Sustainability is part of Saatva’s DNA. Partnering with Evertreen allows us to make a real, lasting impact on the planet—one that reflects the values we live by as a company and as individuals. We’re proud to be investing in a greener, healthier future,” said Ron Rudzin, Founder and CEO of Saatva.

Because when you rest with Saatva, you help the planet breathe a little easier.
