Saatva Celebrates Emerging Architectural Talent at the 2026 SARA California Design Awards

As part of its ongoing partnership with the Society of American Registered Architects (SARA), Saatva attended the 2026 SARA California Design Awards Dinner at the Audrey Irmas Pavilion, celebrating architects, students, and emerging professionals shaping the future of thoughtful design.

Held in Los Angeles, the annual awards program brought together members of the architecture and design community for an evening recognizing excellence in architecture, mentorship, and innovation. Representing Saatva at the event was Emily Hoskins, Vice President of Production, who attended on behalf of the company as part of Saatva’s broader commitment to supporting the next generation of designers and creators through its Professional Dreamer Initiative.

As a National Grant Sponsor of SARA, Saatva presented its first student grant during the event, helping connect students and emerging professionals with educational and professional development opportunities. The initiative reflects the company’s belief that thoughtfully designed environments play an important role in restorative living, wellness, and helping individuals reach their full potential.

“At Saatva, we believe the spaces we inhabit shape how we rest, restore, and connect,” said Emily Hoskins, Vice President of Production at Saatva. “Supporting organizations like SARA allows us to invest in the future of architecture and the people designing environments that positively impact everyday life.”

During the event, Saatva also connected with student grant recipients from Midlands Technical College and members of the architecture community to learn more about their experiences, ambitions, and the importance of mentorship and accessibility within the industry.

The partnership between Saatva and SARA is part of Saatva’s broader Professional Dreamer Initiative, launched in 2025 to support individuals pursuing ambitious goals through collaborations focused on education, wellness, creativity, and community impact. In partnership with organizations including the Coalition of Community College Architecture Programs (CCCAP), the initiative aims to expand pathways for students and emerging professionals pursuing careers in architecture and design.
