Saatva Supports MoCA\CT Performing Arts Series Featuring Endea Owens + The Cookout

Saatva continued its partnership with MoCA\CT through sponsorship of the museum’s 2026 performing arts programming, MoCA\CT Presents: Endea Owens + The Cookout, a special live performance celebrating the closing weekend of the museum’s Art, Jazz + the Blues exhibition.
Held before a full house in MoCA\CT’s galleries, the evening brought together art enthusiasts, music lovers, and community members for an unforgettable celebration of jazz, creativity, and connection. The performance served as a fitting finale to the exhibition, highlighting the enduring relationship between visual art and live music.
Detroit-born bassist, composer, and bandleader Endea Owens delivered an electrifying performance alongside her ensemble, The Cookout. A graduate of The Juilliard School and member of Stay Human, the house band for The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, Owens has performed with legendary artists including Wynton Marsalis, Diana Ross, Jon Batiste, and Jennifer Holliday. Her acclaimed career has earned her Grammy, Emmy, and Peabody Awards, establishing her as one of the most compelling voices in contemporary jazz.

Throughout the evening, guests experienced Owens’ dynamic musicianship and the joyful energy that has made her performances celebrated worldwide. The event reflected MoCA\CT’s ongoing commitment to presenting world-class cultural programming while creating opportunities for meaningful community engagement through the arts.
“Organizations like MoCA\CT play an important role in cultivating vibrant communities by creating spaces where people can come together around shared cultural experiences,” said Ron Rudzin, Founder and CEO of Saatva. “As Saatva continues to grow its presence in the community through our Westport Viewing Room, we’re honored to support programming that showcases exceptional talent and contributes to the rich cultural landscape of Westport.”
