Saatva Shines at the 2022 Brooklyn Heights Designer Showhouse
Saatva, the Smarter Luxury Sleep Company, proudly sponsored the 2022 Brooklyn Heights Designer Showhouse, a prestigious event showcasing exceptional interior design talent in a historic Brooklyn townhouse presented by the Brooklyn Heights Association along with media partner aspire design and home. Saatva’s luxury mattresses were featured in three stunning rooms, each designed by celebrated creatives who brought their unique visions to life.
Primary Bedroom | Tara McCauley
Designer Tara McCauley transformed the primary bedroom into a Surrealist dreamscape, inspired by the artistic collaborations of Elsa Schiaparelli with luminaries like Cocteau and Dalí. The grayscale palette, drawn from Cocteau’s La Belle et la Bête, was accented with Schiaparelli’s signature shocking pink. Trompe-l’œil hallway wallpaper, curtains opened by disembodied hands, and an eye-shaped surrealist mirror by Thomas Englehart added whimsical touches to the suite. The luxurious Saatva Classic Mattress was the perfect addition, elevating the comfort and sophistication of this imaginative retreat.
Guest Bedroom | Studio Dorion
Studio Dorion designed a second-floor bedroom that embraced the elegance of Greek Revival principles—symmetry, simplicity, and timeless sophistication. Balancing classic inspiration with modern sensibilities, the space was tailored to create a cozy yet elevated sanctuary for even the most discerning guests. The Saatva Classic Mattress completed the room, offering a blend of luxury and comfort that reflects the designer’s meticulous attention to detail.
Children’s Bedroom | JDK Interiors
JDK Interiors brought playful magic to the children’s bedroom, drawing inspiration from the circus and childhood wonder. Custom murals and ceiling art by Adam Sultan infused the room with vibrant patterns and imaginative shapes, creating a whimsical haven for kids. Saatva’s dual-phase Youth Mattresses ensured the space wasn’t just visually delightful but also a sanctuary of comfort and support.
