Olympic Bronze Medalist Jason Brown Kicks Off 2026 Saatva Skate America Tour in Seattle

On Thursday, September 24, Saatva welcomed U.S. Olympic bronze medalist and U.S. champion Jason Brown to the Saatva Seattle Viewing Room for an exclusive media breakfast, officially kicking off the promotional tour for 2026 Saatva Skate America, taking place November 13–15 at Angel Of The Winds Arena in Everett, Washington.

Morning Media Breakfast at Saatva Seattle

Local journalists and broadcast crews, including NBC KING 5 News and Everett Post, joined representatives from Saatva and U.S. Figure Skating for a morning of conversation, interviews, and community connection.

During the press Q&A and meet-and-greet, Brown spoke about his preparation for the upcoming Grand Prix season, the significance of bringing world-class figure skating to the Pacific Northwest, and his experience with Saatva. He also highlighted the importance of recovery and wellness in an athlete’s training and performance.

Guests had the opportunity to view Brown’s 2014 Sochi Olympic team bronze medal, displayed alongside Saatva Skate America event signage. The display offered a memorable connection between Brown’s legacy and the upcoming competition in Everett.

As the title sponsor of Skate America 2026 and 2027, Saatva used the event to spotlight the natural connection between restorative sleep and athletic performance, while allowing media to experience the brand’s Viewing Room firsthand.

Afternoon Saatva Skatefest at Everett Community Ice Rink

The celebration continued that afternoon at the Everett Community Ice Rink inside Angel Of The Winds Arena with Saatva Skatefest, a free introductory skating event welcoming participants ages 6 through adults.

New and aspiring skaters received complimentary skate rentals and instruction from certified Learn to Skate coaches, with Brown joining participants on the ice to offer encouragement and share his expertise. He also led a dedicated edge class, participated in a Q&A, and signed autographs for young skaters and members of the Everett Figure Skating Club.

The community event brought Saatva’s partnership with U.S. Figure Skating to life beyond the competition itself, creating an opportunity for local families and aspiring athletes to connect with the sport and with one of its most accomplished U.S. skaters.

Building Momentum for Saatva Skate America

The September 24 events generated local media attention and community excitement ahead of 2026 Saatva Skate America. As the only U.S. stop on the 2026–27 ISU Grand Prix of Figure Skating series, the Everett competition will bring an elite international field to the Pacific Northwest this November.

Through the media breakfast and Skatefest, Saatva and U.S. Figure Skating highlighted the shared values of recovery, performance, wellness, and community while building anticipation for one of the season’s premier figure skating events.
