Saatva Showcased in House Beautiful’s Whole Home 2023

Saatva is honored to be a featured brand in House Beautiful’s prestigious Whole Home 2023 project. This year’s showcase brought together a talented group of design visionaries to reimagine a historic 13,000-square-foot David Adler estate in Hinsdale, Illinois. Built in 1906, the home is an architectural gem, renowned for its traditionalist style and deep roots in Chicago’s history.

Partnering with builder Julie Laux and her J. Jordan Homes team, House Beautiful assembled 13 women-led design teams to tackle the challenge of preserving the estate’s legacy while infusing it with modernity. The result? A vibrant and innovative renovation that marries the charm of the past with the comforts of today.

Saatva played a key role in redefining luxury and comfort within this iconic space. As America’s smarter luxury sleep brand, our contributions helped create serene, restorative retreats that embody the transformative power of better sleep. Whether through handcrafted mattresses or thoughtfully designed sleep solutions, Saatva’s presence reflects our commitment to elevating home design with wellness in mind.

The completed project celebrates creativity, preservation, and adaptability, offering trendsetting ideas for the future of home design. Explore the full transformation in House Beautiful’s Renovation Issue, available November 28, or visit HouseBeautiful.com for an exclusive look.

Saatva is proud to have been part of this extraordinary endeavor, and we extend our gratitude to the talented team behind Whole Home 2023. Here’s to reimagining the past while embracing the future!

Jenna Gross designed a dreamy custom canopy for the four-poster Serena & Lily bed with a Saatva Classic mattress, as well as curtains lined in Sasha Bikoff’s Favorite Things fabric by Vervain, featuring illustrations of croissants, pineapples, and other fun finds. The colorful wallpaper from Morris & Co. adds another layer of vibrancy, and white bedding with a yellow embroidered edge from Sullivan & Phenix balances the room.

Violet and raspberry hues create a carefree mood in this corner room, while remote-controlled shades from Hunter Douglas encourage staying tucked in a little bit longer on the buoyant, cooling Saatva Latex Hybrid mattress.

Society Social

By designing “sleeves” into her fabric canopy, Roxy Owens was able to add Visual Comfort & Co. wall sconces above the body-contouring and responsive Saatva Memory Foam Hybrid mattress, topped with Saatva’s Down Alternative Pillows and a Heavyweight Down Alternative Comforter, designed to withstand even the harshest midwest winter temperatures. A peel-and-stick grasscloth from the designer’s own line for Society Social is a budget-friendly alternative for the ceiling.

Isabel Ladd Interiors

A slipcovered headboard and skirt make it easy to change the ultra-supportive and comfortable Saatva Rx mattress bed to suit any decorating whim. Incorporating wood and wicker pieces into this maximalist space helps ground the energy and bring a sense of calm. Ladd commissioned artist Eva O’Donovan to paint her portrait atop a floral Morris & Co. fabric design originally created in 1877.
