The Saatva Rx is a hybrid innerspring in a Supportive Plush (3-4/10) comfort level. It’s specially designed for maximum support and pressure relief to help alleviate discomfort associated with serious and chronic back and joint conditions, such as sciatica, arthritis, herniated discs, and scoliosis.

Construction
The Contour5 has a high-density foam support base. This is topped with a 2″ transition layer available in two firmnesses to suit your comfort preferences. On top of this is the luxurious, body-hugging core of 3″ ultra-premium 5-lb. memory foam and a 1.5″ layer of gel-infused high-density 4-lb. memory foam. The streamlined waterfall knit cover has flanged and tape-edge construction for improved layer anchoring and durability.
The Saatva Rx features an individually-wrapped comfort coil unit and firmer coils in the side rails for edge support. On top of this durable base, the mattress has multiple layers of various body-contouring foams for extra back cushioning, micro coils to relieve pressure points, and breathable materials to ensure cool sleep.

In the Contour5, you’ll find an ultra-premium 5-lb. memory foam core that gives the mattress its luxurious body-cradling feel. Plus, there’s also a CoolVent™ System that absorbs and disperses excess body heat and gel-infused 4-lb. memory foam with airflow channels. All of the foams are CertiPUR-US®*certified.

In the Saatva Rx, you’ll find an individually-wrapped comfort coil unit made with 15-gauge steel for durability. This is topped with a Therapeutic Support Core™ featuring our proprietary Rx Wave-Tech® Foam Layer and cooling graphite and phase-change material (PCM); an innovative 1″ micro-coil layer; 2 ¾” high-density foam layer encasing the micro coils; ½” gel-infused memory foam lumbar crown; and Lumbar Zone® Quilting on the mattress surface for added back support.

The cover is made with breathable organic cotton that sleeps cool. The CoolVent™ System contains a phase change material that absorbs and disperses excess body heat, while the gel-infused 4-lb. memory foam has airflow channels for added breathability.

Firmness Options
The Contour5 comes in two firmnesses: Medium and Firm. Medium hugs the body without letting your hips sink in too deeply. It’s ideal for side sleepers but also great for back and combination sleepers and couples with different preferences. Firm has less of a body-hugging feel and more responsiveness than Medium. It’s ideal for back and stomach sleepers, those who need or prefer a firm mattress, and heavier sleepers who weigh over 230 pounds.
The Saatva Rx comes in one firmness: Supportive Plush. It’s best suited for side sleepers but also great for back and combination sleepers and stomach sleepers under 130 pounds. The plush surface helps relieve pressure points.
