What motivates us
We believe in supporting the communities where we live and work. In Austin, Texas, where Saatva’s marketing team is based, that means partnering with the Housing Authority of the City of Austin (HACA) to support low-income residents in subsidized housing. Working with the nonprofit group Austin Pathways, Saatva provides mattresses and bedding to the newly housed, helping them start each day with renewed confidence. In addition to donating goods, Saatva raises money for Austin Pathways student scholarships through its participation in the annual Catalyst Games event.
New York-based education nonprofit PENCIL brings together business professionals, educators, and city public school students to “open eyes, open minds, and open doors.” Saatva works with PENCIL’s network to offer mentoring programs that introduce students to career paths across our business, from finance and operations to digital marketing and product design. Our special PENCIL partner is Newcomers High School in Astoria, Queens, which serves a population of students newly arrived in the United States and where our CEO serves annually as Principal for a Day.
We strive every day to live up to the principles embodied by our name: goodness, honesty, sustainability. We believe our greatest potential is reached when we empower each other. And we try to have a good time in the process. Follow the link to view current opportunities.
