What makes our organic cotton sateen sheets so special?
Organic all the way
We only use GOTS (Global Organic Textile Standard) certified organic long-staple cotton. It’s naturally breathable and hypoallergenic, so it’s not only healthier for the planet, it’s healthier for you.
MADE WITH FAIR TRADE COTTON
These sheets are made with Fair Trade Certified™ cotton that’s sourced with the most rigorous standards of economic and social responsibility for the farmers. We believe it's the most effective way for us to do the most good every day.
Just the right thread count
As thread counts rise, fabrics become warmer. We chose a thread count of 300 for the perfect balance of softness and breathability.
SILKY-SOFT YET DURABLE
Long organic cotton fibers are woven into a sateen weave to give you its distinctive subtle luster and beautiful drape.

Frequently asked questions
We’re glad you asked! Machine wash your bedding in cold water, with like colors, on a gentle cycle. Do not bleach. Tumble dry low and remove promptly—we’ve made our bedding slightly larger to account for natural shrinkage after first wash. Mild, organic detergents work best.
Thread count is the number of horizontal (warp) and vertical (weft) threads in one square inch of fabric. The higher the thread count, the warmer the fabric becomes. Our sateen cotton is made of a 300 thread count weave, which gives them the perfect balance of breathability and softness.
Sateen cotton is woven with long-staple organic cotton yarn using a one-yarn-over, three-yarn-under weave structure. This technique creates a silky-soft feel known for its luster and drape.
We stick to our three neutral color options because they complement almost any room style and color palette with timeless simplicity. In keeping with our eco-friendly ethos, we either leave the natural fabric undyed in its beautiful natural state or use nontoxic, eco-friendly dyes for our bed sheets.
Bedding products returned within 45 days of the delivery date will get a full refund to the original form of payment. There are no restocking or penalty fees for used products, but we do ask that you wash your used bedding before returning.

Organic bed sheets are made from fibers grown without chemical insecticides or synthetic fertilizers. They're also either undyed or use environmentally-friendly dyes. Sleeping on organic sheets lessens your daily exposure to potentially harmful or skin-irritating chemicals that might be present in non-organic sheets.
Absolutely! Natural fibers are typically more breathable than synthetic fibers like polyester. The organic cotton we use in our sateen sheet set is 300 thread count, making it the perfect balance of soft and breathable.
According to the National Sleep Foundation, the sweet spot for thread count in cotton sheets is between 200 and 400. If you tend to sleep hot, a higher thread count may not be a great choice as it tends to trap body heat. Sticking to that sweet spot for thread count is a good way to ensure your cotton sheets won't feel too warm.
Organic cotton sheets can be made from a variety of cotton types such as Egyptian cotton or Pima cotton. Fun fact: Egyptian cotton is made from a type of cotton plant that's native to the Nile River Valley, hence it's name!
Microfiber sheets are made out of polyester fabric, giving them a soft, stretchy feel. They're more affordable than 100% organic cotton sheets but the drawback is that they're not as breathable as cotton or other natural fibers. They're also not as environmentally friendly to produce because they're made from synthetic fibers.
Luxury hotel sheets are typically made of high-quality long-staple cotton for its blend of softness and durability. You’ll find that most luxury hotels choose pure white sheet sets to create a clean, fresh, and serene sleep environment for their guests.
Our 300 thread count sheets were designed to balance softness and breathability. We also use certified organic cotton because it’s not only better for the environment, it’s more breathable and moisture-wicking than synthetic fabrics or cotton blends.
The Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS) is the leading textile processing standard for organic fibers. Fabrics that carry the GOTS symbol must be made with at least 95% organic fiber, free of toxic chemicals, colored with nontoxic dyes, and meet strict social and environmental criteria.
