Everyone’s been obsessing over podcasts lately—and for good reason. Whether you’re a pop-culture enthusiast, a true-crime fanatic, or a self-care guru, you can find a podcast to watch or listen to, anytime, anywhere. Here at Saatva, we’re proud to be partners with a variety of engaging podcasts across different genres to suit all of your listening interests.
Joe McCambley, Saatva’s chief marketing officer, explains that we’ve chosen to support hosts who show genuine affection for our brand and understand the importance of advertising. This has resulted in authentic ad reads that really feel like they’re part of the show. “I feel like in that small way, we’re helping to innovate within the space,” he says.
So, if you’re looking for some new podcasts to listen to, check out the list of shows we recommend (and not just because we’re a sponsor)!
1. Ologies
The Ologies podcast is a comedic science show hosted by Alie Ward, writer, actress, and television host. The show has been named one of Time Magazine’s top 50 podcasts, covering topics such as space, mechanics, the brain, animals, and the human body.
Fun topics and special guests make for an entertaining way to learn about the world around us, especially with a lively host. “Alie has really great mannerisms about her,” says McCambley. “She could take any tight-lipped scientist and get them to reveal so many interesting facts about a topic.”
Ward even covers sleep-related topics on a few episodes. These include Chronobiology (circadian rhythms) and Oneirology (dreams), which specifically talk about how our internal clocks control the quality and quantity of our sleep, why we dream, and what those dreams could mean.

Ologies releases a new episode every week. You can listen to all the episodes via Stitcher, Apple, Spotify, Google, Podbay, Podcast Addict, and Overcast.
2. Quitters
The Quitters podcast is a society and culture show hosted by Julie Bowen and Chad Sanders. The show explores different guests’ quitting journeys, whether it’s in the past, ongoing, or something they hope to do, and talks about what they’re leaving behind to move forward.
Quitters allows its speakers to be open and honest about their journeys, including the hosts. “The podcast is all about people who either quit while they’re ahead or they quit disruptive behaviors,” explains McCambley.
In 2021, Sanders published a book, Black Magic: What Black Leaders Learned from Trauma and Triumph, in which he shares his experience of being a Black man working in tech and what happened when he decided to quit trying to fit in in a white world. This led to the launch of the Quitters podcast in February 2022.
Quitters releases a new episode every week. You can listen to all the episodes via Spotify, Youtube, Apple, and other podcast platforms.
3. Your Mom’s House
The Your Mom’s House podcast is a comedic show hosted by married comedians, Tom Segura and Christina Pazsitzky. The couple riffs on vital internet videos, their day-to-day lives, and current events, with guest appearances including popular and up-and-coming comedians, actors, and musicians. Reviews call the podcast “original, dynamic, hilarious” and praise the “real talk” of the hosting duo. One listener says, “Tom and Christina complement each other so well. If you’re looking for a hilarious podcast full of great guests and even better unknown talents, look no further.”
Saatva has been a long-standing partner of Your Mom’s House, which has been around since 2010. As McCambley explains, we invested in their podcast early on, in the spirit of helping another startup company succeed. In turn, it’s become one of the most successful partnerships we have. “We got in very early on because we believed in the idea, and the return on that in terms of the ad reads we get—and the affection the hosts feel for our brand, and vice versa—has been really good,” says McCambley.
Your Mom’s House releases a new episode every week. You can listen to all the episodes via Apple, Amazon Music, Youtube, Stitcher, and Google.
4. Revisionist History
The Revisionist History podcast is a history show hosted by Malcolm Gladwell, journalist, author, and public speaker. Each episode of the show consists of a query about a person, event, or idea from the past and re-examines it to see if “we got it right the first time.”
Many of Saatva’s customers are research enthusiasts who do deep dives into sleep topics that are important to them, such as finding the perfect mattress for good sleep. So it makes perfect sense that we’d partner with a podcast like this.
McCambley explains that Revisionist History “is the kind of show where Malcolm just does a deep dive into something that we’ve all come to know is conventional wisdom, and he refutes it using historical facts and data.”
Revisionist History releases a new episode every week. You can listen to all the episodes via Apple, Spotify, RSS, Stitcher, Overcast, and Youtube.
5. NPR Fresh Air
The Fresh Air with NPR podcast is an interview show hosted by Terry Gross. The show consists of intimate conversations with well-known and influential names.
Saatva values how Fresh Air exposes its audience to various prominent figures in different industries while doing their best to be as objective as possible as part of a news organization. “They try to be balanced in their point of view, and we want to support that,” says McCambley.
Fresh Air podcast releases six new episodes every week. You can listen to all their episodes via NPR One, Apple, Spotify, Google, Amazon Music, and RSS.
6. The Happiness Lab
The Happiness Lab is a scientific podcast show hosted by Laurie Santos, PhD, a psychology professor at Yale University. Santos has studied the science of happiness, and she’s found that many people do the exact opposite of what makes them happy. Therefore, her show includes her latest scientific research on happiness and inspiring stories that’ll have you rethinking your own views on happiness.
When it comes to real life, Santos definitely practices what she preaches on her show. “She came to [a Saatva Viewing Room], where I got to meet her, and she was just a curious person—a lovely person,” says McCambley. “She just seemed to bring out the best in everybody around her.”
The Happiness Lab podcast releases a new episode every Monday. You can listen to all the episodes via Apple, Luminary, Google, Spotify, Stitcher, and Radio Public.
