Tucked into the foothills of Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area, Summerlin feels like an escape. Located 15 minutes from the buzzing casinos and bright neon signs of the Las Vegas Strip, this upscale suburb is home to luxurious golf courses, stylish restaurants, and our latest Saatva Viewing Room.
Originally purchased by eccentric aerospace engineer and business mogul Howard Hughes in the 1950s, construction on the community didn’t start until 1988, with the first family, Cal and Maria Champlin and their two kids, moving in in 1991.
Today, there are over 127,000 residents who call this desert community home, and we can’t wait to join them. Here are some of our favorite things to do in and around Las Vegas, Nev.
